The Next U.S. LNG Export Facility
Delivering Energy Security to Global Markets by 2030

Argent LNG is developing a 25 MTPA world-scale liquefied natural gas export facility at Port Fourchon, Louisiana, strategically positioned to deliver reliable, lower-carbon energy to allied nations in an increasingly volatile global market.

Argent LNG is a world-scale export terminal designed to deliver clean, reliable American energy to global markets across four continents.

We are building a next-generation LNG export terminal in the United States.

Argent is expected to begin LNG exports in early 2030.  Located in Louisiana at Port Fourchon, the project combines Baker Hughes, Honeywell UOP and ABB modular design, efficient 24/7 construction and strategic Gulf Coast access to lower costs and accelerate delivery.  Its mission is to deliver reliable natural gas to global partners.

Our Plan

A LNG Plant supported with the highest Technology

Engineered for Modularity & Scale

Argent LNG's facility design is engineered for modularity and long-term scalability at its 900+ acre site in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The terminal is structured in two phases, with Phase 1 targeting 12 MTPA and full buildout reaching 25 MTPA. Every design decision prioritizes cost efficiency, environmental compliance, and operational flexibility — from tank placement and jetty access to the integration of modular NMBL™ liquefaction trains that can be added incrementally without disrupting ongoing operations.

Phased Construction, Proven Partners

Construction is planned in clearly defined phases, led by experienced EPC partners with deep expertise in large-scale energy infrastructure. Site preparation is underway at Port Fourchon, leveraging the location's existing deepwater port access and industrial supply chain. The modular approach reduces on-site construction complexity significantly — each NMBL™ liquefaction train is pre-fabricated and tested at Baker Hughes' facilities in Italy before being shipped and installed, cutting construction time by up to 30% compared to conventional LNG terminals. Phase 1 commercial operations are targeted for early 2030.

First U.S. Terminal Built Around NMBL™

Argent LNG is the first U.S. Gulf Coast terminal designed entirely around Baker Hughes' NMBL™ modular liquefaction technology, powered by five LM9000 gas turbines — one of the most fuel-efficient drivers available in the industry. This combination delivers higher throughput per unit of fuel, lower emissions than the industry average, and factory-quality performance through pre-tested modules. The terminal also integrates advanced process control systems from ABB, Honeywell's liquefaction solutions, and GTT cryogenic tank technology, creating a fully integrated, next-generation LNG facility.

A World-Class Strategic Ecosystem

Argent LNG has assembled a strategic ecosystem of world-class technology and commercial partners to de-risk execution and accelerate delivery. Baker Hughes serves as the primary technology provider for liquefaction trains and turbines. On the commercial side, a 5 MTPA long-term agreement with Bangladesh demonstrates early market validation and offtake commitment. The project maintains active engagement across 40+ countries in Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East — regions where U.S. LNG directly addresses energy security needs. Regulatory milestones include FERC Pre-filing approval and strong legislative support from the Louisiana Senate.

A Structured Roadmap to 2030

Argent LNG is advancing through a structured development roadmap built around regulatory, commercial, and construction milestones. FERC Pre-filing was approved in October 2025, enabling the project to progress through the federal permitting process. The 90-year land lease at Port Fourchon provides long-term site certainty. Phase 1 — representing a $10 billion investment — is targeted to reach commercial operations by early 2030, with Phase 2 expansion following to bring total capacity to 25 MTPA. The phased structure allows the project to generate revenue and build operational track record while continuing to scale.
