Why LNG and Why Port Fourchon:

The shale gas revolution has firmly positioned the United States as a prominent player in the global energy markets. Leveraging abundant domestic reserves, Argent is embarking on a liquefaction project. This journey begins with securing world-class customers, followed by financing and construction slated to commence in late 2024. The initial phase will see the installation of LNG liquefaction trains, augmenting the Port Fourchon terminal facility with approximately 10 million metric tonnes per year (mtpa) of nominal liquefaction capacity. Subsequently, four additional LNG trains are in the pipeline for development.

Argent LNG presents an ambitious plan for a sustainable, clean, green energy state-of-the-art Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana. Initially producing 10 MTPA, with a capacity of up to 20 MTPA, our facility is strategically positioned to meet the surging global demand for LNG, thanks to the advantageous location of Port Fourchon.

Key Features of the LNG Facility:
Our proposed LNG facility integrates advanced liquefaction technology with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. Committed to excellence and innovation, we strive to set new industry standards in efficiency, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Market Opportunity:
With the LNG market witnessing unprecedented growth driven by the demand for cleaner energy sources, our facility is poised to capitalize on this trend. Strategically positioned, we aim to provide a reliable and sustainable supply of LNG to Free Trade Agreement (“FTA”) countries, leveraging meticulous market analysis to identify clear opportunities for growth and market leadership.

Competitive Advantage:
Spanning 150 acres west of Belle Pass, our facility is designed with Worley as program managers and Kiewit as the EPC contractor, utilizing state-of-the-art liquefaction technology with an initial capacity of 10 MTPA. The estimated cost for the initial phase is US $10 billion. Additionally, the project includes a smaller-scale liquefaction plant tailored to supply LNG for next-generation LNG-powered Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) in the Gulf of Mexico. Our overarching goal is to provide fuel to power generation assets across various regions globally.

Financial Snapshot:
Financial projections indicate a robust return on investment, with nearly $5 billion in funding sought to support the project's development and operational status. The detailed financial model encompasses revenue forecasts, expense breakdowns, and key financial metrics, highlighting the project's financial viability.

Strategic Location:
Situated in Port Fourchon, Louisiana, the Argent LNG project is on track to achieve a total capacity of 20 MTPA. The facility's strategic positioning, distinct from existing developments at Port Fourchon, underscores its potential as a key player in the LNG market.

Initiated in August 2017, Fourchon LNG, a subsidiary of Energy World, applied to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the establishment of an LNG Terminal at Port Fourchon. A Waterway Suitability Assessment has been completed, with full authorization anticipated within the next two years. Following the termination of Fourchon LNG's lease, ARGENT LNG secured a 30-year lease with two additional 30-year options with the port. Construction for Phase 1 is set to commence in 2026, with commercial operation expected by 2030. Phase 2, projected to add additional capacity, is in progress, with activities focused on advancing resource reports, obtaining FERC approval, formalizing gas supply agreements, and securing project funding.
