The Gateway to The Gulf of America, Building Bridges by Energizing the World

Argent lng is set to debut in early 2030, is positioned to transform the landscape of the US LNG sector. With its cutting-edge facility, it stands ready to meet the world's energy needs precisely when they are most crucial.

Energizing the world today, for a brighter, cleaner tomorrow.

The USA is the #1 producer of Energy in the World. We invite potential investors, stakeholders, and partners to join us in this exciting venture, contributing to the sustainable energy future and redefining the landscape of LNG production and distribution.

Port Fourchon is the energy gateway to the gulf of america. Strategically located near major shale-gas plays and boasting a vast network of gas pipelines, Argent LNG benefits from ideal marine conditions, supportive political and community environment, and existing infrastructure.

Argent LNG: Delivering America’s Next Great Energy Terminal at Port Fourchon

As the world races to secure stable, cleaner energy amid geopolitical shocks and the shift from coal, Argent LNG has emerged as a bold new player in the global liquefied natural gas (LNG) landscape. Based in Louisiana and strategically positioned at Port Fourchon, Argent LNG is building one of the most advanced LNG export terminals in the United States—with a mission to serve allied nations in Europe, Asia, and beyond.

From Coal to LNG: A Global Imperative

Across the U.S. and Europe, LNG has already played a central role in displacing coal, reducing emissions, and improving air quality. Argent LNG is now poised to bring this same transition to new regions, targeting markets that remain heavily dependent on coal or politically volatile gas sources. The company is prioritizing customers in Eastern Europe, South Asia, the Caribbean, and parts of the Middle East and North Africa, where energy diversification and security are critical priorities.

Modular, Scalable, and Future-Ready

What sets Argent apart is its use of cutting-edge modular construction techniques and best-in-class OEM partners. The facility will utilize Baker Hughes’ NMBL™ modular liquefaction trains powered by LM9000 turbines and digitally enabled with iCenter™ performance analytics. Honeywell UOP provides pretreatment systems, while ABB supplies electrification and controls. LNG storage tanks are designed by GTT, offering world-class safety and efficiency.

This highly modular design enables faster build times, lower capital costs, and scalability—all while maintaining emissions performance well below industry averages.

Massive Site Expansion and Permitting Momentum

In July 2025, the Greater Lafourche Port Commission acquired an additional 743 acres on behalf of the project, expanding Argent’s footprint to over 900 acres—up from the original 144 acres. This growth ensures capacity for phased development, logistics staging, and future industrial integration.

The project is moving through the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) pre-filing process, and benefits from significant federal support, including channel deepening under the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) passed in late 2024.

Capacity and Phasing

Argent LNG will be built in two main phases:

  • 20 million tonnes per annum (MTPA)

  • Scalable to 25 MTPA total capacity

Construction will be led by global EPC leader Worley, with the full development valued at approximately $18 billion. A dedicated train for LNG bunkering and fueling of Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) is also in the design phase, with potential to support the decarbonization of Gulf Coast marine operations.

A Port Like No Other

Port Fourchon offers unmatched proximity to major U.S. pipeline networks, including Enbridge (22 miles), Kinder Morgan (13 miles), and two additional lines within 1,500 meters. The WRDA-authorized deepening of the port to 50 feet and widening of its channel to 475 feet or more will accommodate large LNG carriers and reduce port congestion compared to other Gulf Coast terminals.

Global Demand, Strategic Partnerships

Argent LNG has already signed a non-binding Heads of Agreement with the Government of Bangladesh for up to 5 MTPA of long-term U.S. LNG supply—one of the largest such deals announced to date. More agreements are under discussion with governments and utilities across Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, and Latin America.

The project will officially debut to the international LNG community at Gastech 2025 in Milan, where Argent LNG will exhibit at Booth D10. The team will showcase its unique modular model and strategic Gulf Coast location to an audience of energy buyers, policymakers, and technology providers.

Built for the Future

Argent LNG isn’t just another LNG terminal—it’s a next-generation export facility engineered to deliver American LNG with a lighter environmental footprint, unmatched delivery reliability, and geopolitical purpose. As global LNG supply is projected to fall short of demand by 2030, Argent’s speed-to-market and flexibility are precisely what the industry needs.
